What are the eight major steel grades?

The eight major steel grades include:

Hot rolled coil: a steel plate made by high-temperature hot rolling processing, with rust on the surface and poor mechanical properties, but with lower processing and cost.

Cold rolled coil: Steel plate processed by cold rolling process, with a smooth surface, high mechanical strength and plasticity.

Medium thick plate: a steel plate located between cold-rolled and hot-rolled plates, with a thickness ranging from 3 to 60mm. It has a wide range of applications and can be used to manufacture various mechanical parts and components.

Strip steel: including hot-rolled strip steel, cold-rolled strip steel, galvanized strip steel, etc.

Coating: including galvanized sheet coils, color coated sheet coils, tin plated sheet coils, aluminum plated sheet coils, etc.

Profile: including I-beams, angle steels, channel steels, H-beams, C-beams, Z-beams, etc.

Building materials: including threaded steel, high wire, regular wire, round steel, screw, etc.

Pipe materials: including seamless pipes, welded pipes, galvanized pipes, spiral pipes, structural pipes, straight seam pipes, etc.

These steel grades are widely used in various machinery, construction, and structural components based on their different uses and processing methods
